The hotel had a chain lock on the door which felt secure, but the rooms were extremely humid and uncomfortable despite being cozy and nice. They were clean as expected, which was a plus. The service was mixed, with staff speaking in a loud voice and being rude, but housekeeping took great care in cleaning the bathroom. The location was great for those visiting the Great Lakes Naval Station and Rosalind Franklin University, but the surroundings were dirty. The dining experience offered a small selection with no hot food options. Overall, the hotel had some positives but also some significant drawbacks.
